Mrs. Martinez

Kindergaten Teacher

Mrs. Martinez has been teaching at PHCS for 20 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Grand Canyon University.

Mrs. Salceda

First Grade Teacher

Mrs. Salceda has been teaching at PHCS for 32 years. She attended LA Harbor College and Grand Canyon University.

“It is in my heart to teach and reach the students that come through my class spiritually, emotionally, and academically. God has given me this responsibility and I look forward to it every year.” – Mrs. Salceda

Ms. Gutierrez

Second and Third Grade Teacher

Ms. Gutierrez has been teaching at PHCS for 10 years. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies from CSUDH, and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree with an emphasis in Teacher Leadership from National University.

“I love teaching because I get to help students realize they are more than students, they are scholars. Students learn while in school; scholars learn their whole life. My greatest moments are when they have grasped the concepts needed to succeed not only in the classroom but in their futures as well.” - Ms. Gutierrez

Miss Mendoza

Third and Fourth Grade Teacher

Miss Mendoza has been teaching at PHCS for 10 years. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies, Minor in Bible, Concentration in Elementary Education Emphasis in Biology and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree from Biola University .

Mr. Deel

Elementary Math Teacher

Mr. Deel has been teaching at PHCS for 13 years. He earned his AA from Marymount College and an AA MTC from the school of Theology.

Miss Coronado

Fifth and Sixth Grade Teacher

Miss Coronado has been teaching at PHCS for 14 years. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Kinesiology.

“I believe that the Kingdom of God reigning on earth comes by teaching the next generation the fullness of who He is through the Holy Spirit. I love to see the students grow spiritually, academically, and physically.”
